Between 1997 and 1998, as Schwarzkopf and Poly Blonde began to expand its market internationally, Poly Blonde was launched under the name of 'Nordic Colors' in several countries, while offering the same lightening, blonding and highlighting expertise as Poly Blonde.

Following a successful name re-launch in 2006 'Nordic Colors' became 'Nordic Blonde'.
